Welcome Julie Masse

Welcome Julie Masse as our November Guest Designer! Make sure to welcome Julie by leaving comment on this thread....she picked out some Beautiful Holiday products as her Favorite Things from the store for one lucky person to win!

I live in Maine and am a SAHM of 4 beautiful children, Emma (6), Anna (almost 5), Ethan (3), and Aaron (18 months). My husband Jeff is a chemist in a small laboratory in New Hampshire. We live in a pretty rural community but I love our old, drafty farmhouse! Currently, we have a couple chickens, a dog, a cat and a fish, but we've also been known to have goats, pigs, and pheasants.

While I have always loved to do crafty things, sewing, smocking, scrapbooking, etc., I began stamping seriously as a hobby about the time our first daughter was born. I became a SU! demo shortly after that and started a blog last year. Since then, I have discovered a whole wonderful world of stamping/crafting goodness!! There are so many wonderful companies and super talented stampers out there that I have been privileged to know! I love to visit other paper crafting blogs and get lots of inspiration from them!

My style I think is pretty classic clean and simple, although I love to experiment with different styles and techniques! I am currently on 3 design teams, Paper Pretties, Kitchen Sink Stamps and Say It With Letters and my work has been published in Paper Crafts magazine and will be in Cards magazine in March 2009.

I have loved visiting Emma's Paperie from the moment I found it! I am constantly amazed at the beautiful work of the design team and just love filling up my cart with the latest paper crafting goodies - I can always find something!! :) I am so thrilled to be working with Emma's this month, thank you Cindy for this fun opportunity!!

Here's a peek into Julie's space and some great organizational ideas:

  2. My son just moved back home into our basement apartment so I lost my craft room! I now have to craft at my dining room table and of course that means having to pick up and put away each time I make a card or do some beading. At least my son lets me store my "stuff" in his linen closet! Sure wish I had an extra room in this house! Love your craft room!

  21. Very cool space! I love the tic-tac containers for embellies idea! I am forever spilling mine all over the place so I had to start using the powder pal trays when I work with them to keep everything corralled.
