Prize Drawing #7

Prize Drawing #7: Prizes will be posted every hour on the hour. Winners will be picked by a random number generator and all winners will be posted at 9PM tonight. For a chance to win each prize, all you have to do is answer the question with a comment on each hourly post. (make sure to leave your comment under each picture of the prize, click on the photo for a larger view)

Fun Birthday Trivia: World famous pastry chef Alain Roby, who is based out of Hyatt Regency Chicago, created a cake over 6 feet tall that weighed a whopping 1,250 lbs – consisting of 350 lbs of butter; 12 gallons of buttermilk; 240 lbs of sugar and 1900 eggs for the Martha Stewart show.     If it's not chocolate, it's not worth the calories - that's my motto.....warm, molton chocolate cake with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on the side.....oh yeah, I can ALMOST taste it now.....!

    My favorite cake is Angel Food with Sea Foam frosting. The frosting is also called 7 minute frosting. Something you cook on the dbl broiler for 7 min. Yumm it makes me want a cake now.

    Absolutely love NY style cheesecake if that can be considered a true cake; but for a cake with frosting, I will take a white cake with buttercream frosting (with lots of piping!)...yum!

    We don't do frosting that much in Sweden - so my fave cake is spongecake with vanilla cream between the layers, then one layer of marengue and then whipped cream and berries on top.

    I am definitely a cream pie girl...but if I had to pick a cake I would say carrot cake with a TON of yummy cream cheese frosting. I mean the more sugar the better right?
