Spirit Phrases Cardstock Stickers by Creative Cafe
Baroque Crystal Clear Stamps by Melissa Frances
Classic Collection Designer Glitter by Melissa Frances
Pop Out Glitter Flowers by Melissa Frances
Tim Holtz Distress Clear Embossing Ink by Ranger

Instructions:

1. Repeatedly stamp leaft onto bag withe clear ink. Cover with glitter and shake off excess. (You could use a glue pad or powder for this, but I just used the clear embossing powder and it stuck just fine. I think the waxy quality of the bag keeps the ink on the surface and allows the glitter to stick.)
2. Place cookie pop in bag and tie closed with string or ribbon.
3. Punch holes (like button holes) in chipboard flower and tie it onto the bag.
4. Wrap thin strips of cardstock around a skewer to curl, then unwind them a bit. Glue them to the back of the chipboard.
5. Add sentiment sticker.

Thankful Class Kit #4

Our last class using the Breast Cancer Awareness Kit is by Melissa Phillips. She made a Gorgeous Tag Album to fit inside the Window Tin that is included in the kit.

Grateful Tag Notebook with Tin and Matching Card by Melissa Phillips

FOR TAG NOTEBOOK
  1. Cut tags from white cardstock to fit inside tin.
  2. Using Scallop Edger Punch to scallop bottom edge of tag and back with coordinating paper from kit, so that it shows from underneath just a bit.
  3. Embellish each tag with journaling prompts from the cardstock sticker sheet included in the kit. Choose prompts that will inspire you or someone you love to write down feelings related to that particular phrase. Space on the back of each tag allows for plenty of thoughts.
  4. If you choose to use the chipboard wings they can be embellished in many ways, such as with paper, buttons, or I like to paint them with ivory paint, sand a bit to distress, and then coat with white glitter to shabby them up a bit. These can be topped with a cardstock sticker expressing a favorite quote or phrase from the sticker sheet.
  5. The stamp included in the kit can also inspire journaling and is fun to include on one or more of these tags.
  6. Attach tags together at the top by using the beaded chain included with the chipboard wing set.
  7. These will fit perfectly into the tin for safe keeping.

FOR TIN

  1. Cut a strip of striped paper from kit to fit around base of tin. Ink edge if desired and adhere to tin.
  2. Adhere pink ric rac around edge of lid.
  3. Cut long cardstock sticker strip to fit across tin and adhere.
  4. Cut pink grosgrain ribbon to fit down right side of tin, trim bottom edge in a “v” shape.
  5. Cut striped ribbon to fit down center of pink grosgrain ribbon, trim bottom edge in a “v” shape and adhere.
  6. Attach “grateful” cardstock sticker on top of ribbon strips and embellish with a button and crocheted flower.

FOR CARD

  1. Cover front of card using large floral print paper from kit. Line up top edge with fold.
  2. Cut a block of striped paper to fit center of card and back with a strip of white cardstock that has been punched with scallop edge tool. Adhere to card front.
  3. Tie a strip of pink grosgrain ribbon with a knot near one end. Make this your top end and adhere along right edge of striped paper.
  4. Adhere painted and glittered chipboard wings near bottom of grosgrain ribbon strip and on a slight diagonal. Top with cardstock sticker and button.
  5. Adhere “strength” cardstock sticker in upper left corner of card and embellish with crocheted flowers.
  6. Adhere pink ric rac down right and left sides of card.
