Note: I used Pinstripe Mr. Huey mist on the circle veneer frames. I used Heirloom blue on the chipboard hearts. I sprayed each, let it soak in for a few seconds and then wiped off the excess with a tissue.

Memoir Book Jacket Double-sided Paper by Studio Calico

Anthology Label Stickers by Studio Calico

Instructions:

1) Cut strip of Cubicle patterned paper and adhere across layout so that four patterns show.

2) Trim scallops from Linen patterned paper and adhere below Cubicle paper. 

3) Adhere chevron stickers across meeting edges. In center, back wood frame with patterned paper and adhere.

4) Adhere black and white photos as shown. Embellish left photo with wood veneer circle and brad.

5) Wrap large photo with twine and use scallop scissors on small strip of Book Jacket patterned paper. Adhere photo.

6) Adhere alphabet stickers as shown and layer label with large circle frame.

7) Adhere "vacation" sticker with label as shown and add journaling.

Nostalgia Accessories Die-Cuts by My Mind's Eye

Instructions:

1.Spray back of die cut paper and allow to dry.

2. Create pattern paper block by adhering pattern papers together and apply lace to vertical seam.

3. Cut piece of die cut paper to fit behind pattern paper block. Adhere to white cardstock. 

4. Attach pattern paper block over die cut paper.

5. Attach photo and embellish with envelope and tags.

6.  Add title and butterflies.

7. Print letter and tuck in envelope.~

Instructions:

1. Cut yellow striped paper to 8.5 by 11. Cut kraft paper slightly smaller. Die cut (or cut by hand) three clouds at the top of the page.
2. Back with map paper and adhere to yellow striped paper.
3. Add airplane next to one of the clouds and add the cut out cloud with foam adhesive.
4. Adhere a panel of yellow striped paper near bottom of page. Adhere striped sticker to bottom of it. Mat photo with map paper and adhere to left side of the panel.
5. Add Thickers and die cut word to create title. Stitch over letters and add small airplane.
6. Stamp the border and JFK ticket using Versamark ink on a transparency. Emboss with black embossing powder and cut out.
7. Stitch border stamp and adhere near bottom of page.
8. Create a cluster with the badge, chipboard and tag.

Instructions:

 

1. Using paperpad cut (12) 1 1/2"x 1 1/2" squares of coordinating Studio Calico papers.

2. Cut strips of yellow polka dot paper and adhere around frame. Cut and sand edges.

3. Ink edges of all squares and begin adhering around frame.

4. Add bird card to center of frame and adhere wooden frame to highlight bird.

5. Adhere clothespins to each side and string twine from side to side.

6. Begin embellishing frame with butterfly stickers, wooden birds, and flowers as seen.

7. Adhere lace trim along edge of frame.

Distressed Misted Wooden Buttons Technique:

1:  Paint wooden button using off-white acrylic paint.

2:  After paint has dried, mist each button using Manila Color Mist.

3:  Dab each button with a folded paper towel to remove excess mist.

4:  Buttons will immediately be aged and distressed for your crafting!
