Meet Cherry:

I have had a fascination with paper and scissors from an early age..use to cut out little paper villages and I adored paper dolls (still do)! About three years ago I started scrapbooking to preserve memories of my son and our family. In the last year I have found I really enjoy making cards and love to alter found items and make them my own. Paper is my passion and is theraputic to my soul. I enjoy the whole process of creating...from found items, finding that perfect paper, to the embellishments. It makes me happy!"

Instructions:

1. Paint the chipboard backdrop using off-white acrylic paint. Sand edges to distress.
2. Cut a block of Rose patterned paper 5 x 7”. Ink edges to distress.
3. Cut the eyelet trim down the center and use the eyelet scallops to trim around the Rose paper. Adhere in place.
4. Cut a block of Constance paper to fit the center of the backdrop, ink, stitch around edges, and adhere in place.
5. Paint a chipboard house coaster using off-white acrylic paint. Sand edges to distress.
6. Cover chipboard house in Henrietta paper at the base and cut a triangle from the Joanne paper for the roof. Ink edges, and adhere in place.
7. Cut sheet music in two strips to form the roof. Ink edges, and adhere.
8. Wrap pink seam binding around house and tie in a bow on the left. Embellish center of bow with a black pearl trinket pin.
9. Trace Cheswick frame onto an image from the Rose patterned paper, cut out, adhere frame over image and then onto the chipboard house.
10. Apply rubons to house, flower near top of roof, and rhinestones along seam binding.
11. Adhere gold glitter letters along bottom edge of Rose patterned paper.
12. Trace moon chandelier drop onto book print or other patterned paper. Cut out and adhere to the backside of the moon drop. Adhere to the bottom of the backdrop.
13. Hang the diamond shape chandelier drop from thread and adhere to the backside of the backdrop so that it hangs just underneath the moon drop.
14. Punch two holes in upper corners of the backdrop, thread and tie with tea-stained twill tape.
15. Embellish sides of wall hanging with Sparklers or coordinating buttons to finish.

Instructions:

1. Create a card from white cardstock and cover with turquoise paper.
2. Create cupcake wrapper from white cardstock and use as template by cutting each section apart. Trace onto three different pieces of pattern paper. Embellish each section with coordinating buttons.
3. Create top of cupcake from white cardstock. Cover with spray adhesive and apply glitter. Attach red button to top of cupcake. Put cupcake together and attach to card.
4. Create sentiment banner using Microsoft Word. Choose banner from shapes tab. Resize to fit card and add sentiment. Print on white cardstock and cut out. Attach to bottom of card.
5. Use white pen to add faux stitching to card.
