Gable Box Workshop

The girls used Gable Boxes for this month's Workshop. They come in three sizes; mini, medium & large and two colors; white or kraft....check them out under Packaging & Wraps in the store. We've also recently added CLEAR gable boxes in two sizes!

Instructions:

1. Cut yellow dotted paper to fit front of box, ink edges and adhere.
2. Cut butterfly paper scraps to fit half way down box and adhere.
3. Cut black glitter paper to fit across center of box, scallop the bottom edge following pattern in paper and punch holes in each scallop. Adhere across center of box, slightly below the center mark.
4. Cut a thin strip of red striped paper to fit across center of black glitter paper, ink edges and adhere.
5. Attach "enjoy" die-cut to center of box using dimensional adhesive. Embellish with jewels and a button.
6. Cut a thin strip of black glitter paper to fit along top edge of box, cut scallops following pattern in paper, punch holes and adhere.
7. Cut red striped paper to fit sides of box, ink edges and adhere.
8. Tie bow from wide grosgrain at top.
9. Create a layered bow with gingham ribbon and tie in center using a button. Attach to center of larger bow.

Instructions:

1. Cut a strip of Orange dot paper (backside of Giraffes) to fit across the front of box; punch the bottom border with Threading Water Punch; ink edges and adhere.
2. Cut Giraffes paper to fit in middle of orange strip; ink and adhere.
3. Wrap Pink ribbon around center of box and tie in bow.
4. Attach elephant die-cut and glitter flower. Tie button with twine, attach to baby girl tag and adhere to glitter flower center.
5. Wrap handle with flower paper.

Card Instructions:

1. Make 4" square card out of cardstock. Cut panel of brown paper to fit front.
2. Add layer of vine paper and layer of stripe paper.
3. Cut strip of stripe paper; glue ends together to form a circle. Glue middle of circle together to create the bow (see picture).
4. Wrap bow with stripe paper to create the knot (see picture). Cut two lengths of stripe paper to form the ribbon ends; add rub-on.
5. Glue ends behind bow and glue bow to card.

Box Instructions:

1. Cut panel of vine paper to fit inside box. Roll paper to form a half circle shape; tape inside box (see picture).
2. Cut 2 strips of stripe paper; glue ends together to form one long strip. Wrap around box, trim to fit and glue ends together.
3. Form box as above and add to box.

Instructions:

1. Cut Papers to fit box, stitch edges and adhere.
2. Add a strip of red & white striped ribbon along the top of the box and along the handle.
3. Cut a smaller piece of red paper and stitch edges; adhere to front center of box.
4. Add the die-cut and sticker; adhere chipboard swirls to either side.
5. Add letters to spell "It's a Boy" and adhere star with chipboard on center of handle.
