Scrunched seam binding


Instructions:

  1. Spray metal tins with Celery Acrylic Spray Paint and let dry completely.
  2. Adhere trim around edges of tin.
  3. Wrap tin with scrunched seam binding or other ribbon and tie in a single bow on top.
  4. Adhere fabric leaves and flower to center of tin.
  5. Embellish center of bow with small sculpture flower.
  6. Coat with spray adhesive and sprinkle with a light dusting of snow glitter to finish.

Prima Spotlight by Sherry Wright

Supplies:

Sandals (these are from WalMart $7.99)
plastic lunch bag

Instructions:

Sandals:
1. Start by cutting flowers off necklace piece. Spray two small flowers with rum punch mist, let dry. Spray two large flowers with blue mist, let dry. Using Fabri-Tac attach flowers as shown in photo.

Headband:
1. Spray two small flowers with Rum Punch mist and let dry. Spray one large flower blue, let dry. Attach flowers to headband with Fabri-Tac.

Keychain:
1. Cut a 2"x3" piece of paper and put into plastic sandwich bag (be sure to push all the way to the bottom. Use marker to trace tag shape for top. Use sewing machine to sew plastic around paper edges and traced top.
2. Punch a hole in the top, run keys through. Using twine tie trinkets through hole. Add flower to top of keychain.

Instructions:

1. Create card from light cardstock, stamp if desired.

2. Run lace trim along right and left side of card.

3. Mat note card with dark red cardstock and attach to card.

4. Print sentiment on pink cardstock and attach to chipboard oval. Use light tan paint to dry brush the edges. Attach to center of note card.

5. Attach pearl flourish to left edge of oval.

6. Embellish with floral cut outs, flowers and Prima bird.

7. Add pearls to finish off the design.

Jessica Notes: To get the puddled look with spray mists, I first sprayed the cardstock with water, then added the mists. For the most part, I kept the colors separate to allow for some variety let the water pool them together. I immediately dried the cardstock with a heat gun, then used a hot iron to flatten the paper.

Instructions:

  1. Begin by painting the scalloped edges on each chipboard page with antique white acrylic paint. Sand to distress and then coat with glitter.
  2. Trace coordinating paper onto each half circle chipboard page, cut out, and adhere.
  3. Cut a coordinating 1-2” strip of paper for each half circle, adhere along flat edge and trim off excess. Sand each page around the edges to smooth and then distress with ink.
  4. For the cover, adhere trim along the half circle curve, wrap with ribbon and tie on the right. Adhere to a scalloped edge half circle.
  5. Embellish the cover with altered fairy scraps, chipboard, candy stripe flower, and button.
  6. For each additional page, embellish each with a pocket, chipboard accents, cardstock stickers, buttons, adhesive pearls, resin, and altered fairy scraps.
  7. Attach all of the pages together either using metal rings or ribbon to finish.
  8. To create pockets to hold memorable photos, memorabilia, journaling, etc. Adhere small envelopes either to the backside of each page or connect them to the metal rings in between each page.
