Note from Melissa: I thought it would be fun to create 14 lovely, little, love notes to leave for my husband in the days leading up to Valentine’s Day. To create the 14 Days of February Love Notes, follow these tips.

Instructions
  1. Distress and insert an assortment of journaling cards, patterned paper, and die cuts in to 14 small, glassine bags.
  2. To embellish the front of the glassine bags, simply add a combination of the following in layers:
    • Lace hearts
    • Victorian scraps
    • Buttons, ribbon, and trim
    • Chipboard hearts
    • Labels
    • Epoxy stickers
    • Die cuts
    • Resin, etc.

  3. After embellishing the front of 14 glassine bags, number each beginning with number one and ending with 14.
  4. Wrap them all up to present together in a piece of vintage sheet music, tied with a bow and embellished with a metal tag, or simply present one each day to your sweetheart.

More From California!

Day 2 of the show and our feet are tired, but we're still having a great time! We visted lots of booths and have some more images to share with you today.

First up is October Afternoon. Both lines have a wonderful vintage feel to them, yet retain the OA feel - lots of stripes, polka dots and bringht yet subdued colors.

We got the new Cosmo Cricket lines. They are super cute. Very vintagey, too.

Off to dinner. Check back later for more pictures from CHA 2010.

Helloooo From California!!!

Hi! We are busy working out here to bring you lots of new goodies from CHA!! After a long day at the show, we found a great Mexican restaurant. Here we are relaxing.

We've already bought a lot of fun things for the store. Here are a few things that you'll be seeing in the next few months.

First up are beautiful papers from a new company called the Girl's Paperie. It's soft and vintage and lovely.

There are some really pretty floral embellishments, stamps and alphas that go along with these.

Next up is Prima. It is as gorgeous as always. There are several new paper lines, gorgeous flowers and lots and lots of crystals. Here are a few images showing just some of the many new things that will be arriving soon.

Check back tomorrow. We'll be sharing lots more photos!
