Witch Hazel Designer Brads by October Afternoon

Instructions:

1) Cut 1" from black cardstock and matt with orange cardstock. Adhere to spider web patterned paper.

2) Layer block of orange patterned paper with multi-colored striped paper cut to 1". Adhere photos as shown.

3) Embellish with journaling spot and stickers. Add brads near the top of the layout.

4) Adhere alphabet stickers title to layout.

5) Underneath small photo block, layer purple polka dot patterned paper stripe and stickers.

6) At bottom of layout, adhere cut chevron stripe from patterned paper. Machine stitch around edges of layout.

Instructions:

1.  Create three card bases from aqua cardstock with the finished card size measuring 3 1/4" x 5 1/2".

2.  Cover the front of each card with cream patterned paper cut slightly smaller than the card front.

3.  For each card, cut a 1 1/2" strip of coordinating patterned paper to fit across either the top edge or bottom edge and adhere in place.

4.  Adhere a library card to the center of each card.

5.  Cut a block from coordinating paper to fit the center of each library pocket and adhere in place.

6.  Embellish each library pocket with dimensional stickers, banner stickers, candy dots, and ribbon to finish.

7.  Embellish a SMASH pocket with coordinating pattern paper across the front, dimensional flower stickers across the bottom, and a banner sticker across the center.

8.  Wrap coordinating ribbon around top portion of pocket and tie in a large bow to finish.

Cardboard box (for background)

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of cardboard box 7x6 1/2" and peel back to expose corrugated parts. Ink edges with white ink.

2. Cut piece of yellow paper smaller than cardboard and adhere.

3. Cut two strips of coordinating paper and adhere to left side.

4. Adhere "Family" quote card from phrase card pack to center. Adhere "together" and blue polka dot strips as shown.

5. Tuck "love" banner from phrase card pack under "family" quote.

5. Add heart stickers and masking tape stickers as shown.

6. Clip hanger to top of cardboard and add birds nest sticker.

7. Adhere scallop trim to back/bottom of cardboard piece.
