"All the Trimmings" Challenge

For April's Challenge, I asked the design team to create projects using some kind of trimming, whether it be ribbon, die-cuts, papers with edges, scissors or embellishments....anything they thought of to "trim" their creations. Check out what they did.......

Birthday Cupcake Gable Box by Jessica Witty

Mini White Gable Box
Pinata Paper by American Crafts
Raspberry Sunrise Flower Sequins by Doodlebug Design
Mini Sprinkle Brads by Queen & Co.
Everyday Card Clear Stamp Set by Creative Cafe
May Arts Ribbon
Colorful Paper Clips

Instructions:

1. For the Box, Cut (2) 3" x 3 1/2" rectangles of cardstock. Score each so that there is a 3/4" section in the middle. Slide both inside the box to hold the cupcake in place.

2. Cut (2) 12" strips of PiƱata Paper and fold over and over to make a ruffle. Attach the two strips together to make one strip long enough to wrap around the box.

3. Tie ribbon around box.

4. Stamp sentiment on pink cardstock and cut out, leaving room at the top to fold over. Embellish with flower and brad. Fold over handle and glue together.

1. For the Flower Spikes, Straighten paper clips. Using round nose pliers, form a small circle at one end.

2. Insert brad through sequins and through the circle on the paper clip. Fold brad ends down.
