Instructions:
Tip: This is a great way to use up all those scraps of pattern paper you have laying around.

1. Since the container is slightly wider than 12 inches, I overlapped two pieces of black cardstock to create the base.

2. Cut pieces of pattern paper into different sizes and ink the edges with black ink. Then piece them together on the black cardstock. Use strong adhesive along the edges so they don't pull up when you wrap the paper around the container.

3. Zig-Zag stitch with black thread in various places along the edges of pattern paper. (I varied the width of the stitches to give the project a little more detail.)

4. Punch holes for the ribbon handle and then attach to the container with strong adhesive.

5. Punch or hand cut butterflies from black paper. Apply Stickles to the edge and allow to dry.

6. Create outside strip for cover by cutting two 1.25" wide strips of black cardstock. Overlap the two pieces so they fit all the way around the top. Cut stripes of pattern paper, slightly narrower than the cardstock and ink the edges. Attach to the black strip.

7. Punch holes for the ribbon handle and then attach to the outside rim of the cover.

8. Use a circle cutter to cut a 4" circle out of black for the top of the container. Cut a piece of pattern paper slightly smaller and ink the edges. Attach to black.

9. Punch holes for ribbon handle and attach to top of cover.

10. Apply sentiment to a large tag. Fold the edges of one of the butterflies and add rhinestone to center. Attach sentiment and butterfly to the tag.

11. Attach tag and cover using black ribbon.

12. Fold remaining butterflies and attach rhinestones to centers. Apply butterflies to the outside of the container.

Instructions:
1. Remove metal rings from accordion album. Paint 1 detailed and 1 solid butterfly using cream acrylic paint. Let dry and sand edges. Repeat this process from 2 chipboard flowers as well.

2. Coat detailed chipboard butterfly with white glitter and set aside.

3. Cover solid butterfly in patterned paper, sand edges and attach cream trim to backside of upper wings.

4. Attach scallop ric rac to center of butterfly on top chipboard piece.

5. Punch holes in both chipboard pieces near upper wing area. Thread with sage green ribbon and tie both together in a large bow.

6. Attach pear trinket pins to backside of top chipboard piece to form antennas.

7. Adhere sentiment sticker to inside center area of card. Embellish with pink buttons and adhesive pearls.

8. Attach chipboard flowers and adhesive pearls to finish.

Finished size: 3.5" square

Instructions for Card Base:
1. Fold cardstock panel in half.

2. Lay largest die face up (ridged side up) on cutting surface. *This is the sandwich I used for my Cuttlebug machine, starting from the bottom (the plate that actually lays on the Cuttlebug) and going up:
A plate
B plate
Label Die (ridge side up)
Folded Cardstock
B plate
3. Lay folded cardstock on top of the die, placing folded side within the boundries of the die. This will ensure that the folded side remains uncut.

4. Rub through die-cut machine.

Instructions for Card:
1. Cut patterned paper using the largest die. (I used the same sandwich at the above to cut patterned paper.)

2. Do this twice with the same patterned paper so that you end up with one label of the front of the pp and one label of the reverse of the pp.

3. Trim both the top and bottom side of the yellow label to create the second layer; adhere.

4. Sponge all edges with distress ink.

5. Adhere full label to card base, lining up all the edges.

6. Adhere yellow layer to card and add run-ons and pearls.

Scor-Pal Wallet & Card Class by Anabelle O'Malley

For this week's project, I decided to get out my Scor-Pal. Every time I use it, I'm reminded of all of the fun things I can make with it. One of the best things about Scor-Pal is their website. There are tons of tutorials on how to use it. You can make cards, envelopes, boxes, ornaments, etc. The directions are clear and the projects almost make themselves.

Since Mother's Day is coming up, I decided to make this project for my mother-in-law. With 8 grandchildren, she certainly could always use something to keep their photos tucked in her purse. This wallet photo folder set is perfect for her. I created the wallet using the directions found HERE. Like I said, the directions are clear and make the assembly really easy.

I also created a card to go with it. I love the interactive cards and there are tutorials for several of them at the Scor-Pal website. Here is the one that I chose to make. It's called a Layered Folds card.

I printed the sentiment and added it to the inside of the card.

The Scor-Pal, along with the wonderful directions at the site made this a really quick and easy gift to put together!

Instructions:
1. Find a match box in your home and empty out the matches. This one is 5" x 2.75". Cut paper to fit box and punch sides with lace punch. (I added ribbon under the punched edged to hide the match box that was showing through.) Adhere.

2. Ink edges of oval sticker; adhere to box. Adhere "with this ring" rub-on.

3. Attach small tag sticker to box and adhere oval resin frame over the top; adhere a pearl sticker inside frame.

4. Tie twine around box tying a resin key on.

5. Paint inside of box (the part that slides out) with white paint, leaving some of the box showing.

6. Print wedding information onto sticker and attach inside box; adhere pearl stickers.
