From the Kitchen of......

Getting ready to make holiday treats for your neighbors, friends and teachers? This month's theme is Gifts from your Kitchen. The store is stocked with lots of packaging wraps, gift boxes, favor bags and containers to make your best cookie recipe look spectacular! Here are a few ideas from the girls to get you started.

Harvest Haystacks

  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (I use chunky)
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles

    1. Melt chips & peanut butter together in the microwave.
    2. Stir in marshmallows and noodles.
    3. Drop by forkfuls onto waxed paper. Cool and store in fridge.

    Tip from Lisa: I was trying to figure out how I was going to cover the sides of the lunchbox when I realized that the handle and clasp have metal tabs on the inside. The tabs are VERY easy to bend out so you can pull those pieces off. Very quick and easy.
