October Workshop with Jessica Witty

Embellish folded premade journal pages for a custom card kit.



Gypsy Card Set Instructions:

Make all cards by scoring journal pages in half and folding.

Crown card:
Stamp sentiment in brown ink. Age chipboard button with linen ink and tie with ribbon. Adhere chipboard buttons and flower to card.


Good Fortune card:
Trim paper shreds and adhere to card. Cut slit in top of card, slide ribbon through, & tie.



Love Notes card:
Adhere seam binding to card. Punch hearts from Coloma & Newsprint papers and adhere to ribbon. Stitch over ribbon and hearts.



Enjoy card:
Repeatedly stamp number line with black soot ink. Fold strip of newsprint paper over the side of the card and adhere. Poke holes with needle tool, slip twine through, and tie. Adhere paper shred over twine.



Bird card:
Stamp bird & crown in linen ink. Glue velvet ribbon to front. Tie twine over ribbon. Adhere paper shred.


Envelope:
Slip cards into glassine bag and fold the side of the bag over. Remove cards, refold bag, stamp bird and crown in linen ink, let dry before putting cards back in.

Cut a slit in the bag, wrap seam binding around the package, and tie. Attach paper shred to safety pin and pin to back.
