Prize Drawing #7

Fun Birthday Fact: In England, when you reach 80, 90 or 100 years of age, the Queen of England sends you a telegram.

Prize Drawing #7: Prizes will be posted every hour on the hour. Winners will be picked by a random number generator and all winners will be posted at 9PM tonight. For a chance to win each prize, all you have to do is answer the question with a comment on each hourly post. (make sure to leave your comment under each picture of the prize, click on the photo for a larger view)

The next class will be by Melissa at 4pm with another prize drawing!

Here's the seventh question: If you were a kid again, what birthday theme would you pick for your party?

I suppose if I was a kid again, I couldn't pick an 80's party. Shucks!

Then I'd pick a tropical hula party complete with grass skirts, fresh pineapple and some island tunes!

If I was a kid again and could choose any theme, it would be Snoopy. Loved Snoopy growing up. I know silly but as a kid...what can I say that beagle was cute and had the greatest laugh!

Happy Birthday! with all these questions I really feel like I'm having a birthday...
If I was a kid again, I would like to be a princess for a day... since I was a bit of a tom boy :)

If I were a kid again I would pick a Fairy Theme. Not just Tinkerbell but she would be there with lots of sparkly bling, everyone in wings and painted sparkly faces.
If I were a little older, pre-teen, I would do a hawaiian party theme with the grass skirts and tropical drinks.
Ahhwww fun!

Having grown kids and no grandkids at this time, I am not real hip on what is in right now so I would have to go with a Barbie theme as my fondest childhood memories involving playing barbies with my friends.

I actually host children's parties, and the most popular theme I personally do is a jungle theme, for boys or girls and we stuff jungle animals and dance and have a great time...although I would have loved that, too, I think that as a little girl I would have absolutely adored having a princess birthday party! Complete with beautiful princess dresses, tiaras, sparkly makeup and hair, and a beautiful table filled with pretty desserts! Actually, it could be fun even in my 40's hehe..could you just see a bunch of middle aged women preteding to be princesses for the day?

I was pretty much the tomboy as a kid, but have always loved movies ... Alice in Wonderland OR Harry Potter!

Ruth Philps said...

If I was a kid again I'd love to have a Hannah Montana Rock Chic party or a mini prom party.....I too am so much more girlier now than when I was little....maybe a make-up pampering session.

There is a shop in our town that specialises in this for young girls but it is soooo expensive and I don't agree in little girls getting fake tan so maybe I'd just pretend to be a rock star instead so my daughter would hang out with me!!

almadr said...

Maybe something with Winnie-the-Pooh. I love this book, so it'd be nice to have a dress-up party with all my fave characters or maybe picnic in the forests ;-)
