This looks like an awesome birthday package giveaway! My birthday is in August so I guess I am among that percentage. My most memorable gift was when my husband invited some of our dearest friends and surprised me with a dinner out at one of our favorite restaurants! We then came back and enjoyed the delicious cake that one of my friends made me. A great evening.

Happy Birthday to you!

It is actually my birthday tomorrow! My most memorable birthday gift was a few years ago when my 20 year old brother bought me three gift bags worth of scrapbooking goodies. The reason it was so memorable is because he actually went to my local scrapbook store and spent over an hour going around and picking out things he thought I would like. He said he was the only guy in the store and the staff kept asking if he needed help. :) How lucky am I to have such a loving brother?! :)

The most memorable gift I received would have to be my pink coach purse my husband got for me. I would never spend that much on myself. I was really surprised!

my 21st birthday was when my daughter was conceived which is definitely memorable.

I guess my most memorable gifts are all technology (which is funny because I'm so un-technological!). My husband gave me an iPod mini shortly after they came out -- icy blue with a Bible verse engraved on it. Two birthdays ago he gave me the laptop that I'm using right now and last year he gave me an iPhone. Generous guy, huh?

I got a box of icecream of my husband to be, when we were not even dating yet. From all the big gifts I got in my 46 years, that one box of icecream I remember best :)

On my 21st birthday I got some horribly raunchy gifts from my college friends. It was hilarious at the time and definitely something I will never forget!

The birthday I remember most was my 13th. I got a brand new bike...up until then I only had hand me downs.

In 5th grade I got the Grease album I'd been wanting so badly. There's a goofy picture of me somewhere holding it while sitting on my 70's bedspread and wearing my paper crown from school. Better scrap it, eh?

My most memorable (because I love sweets) was getting BOTH a cake AND a giant chocolate chip cookie decorated with lots of icing. It was for my 30th birthday, and the cake said "Happy 26th Birthday"; then the cookie said "+4". What a hoot!

My first thought was a manicure set I got from my Aunt when I was about 10....in a totally cool case with all kinds of stuff..polish, tools, you name it...I felt soooo grown-up! As an adult, probably my solitare diamond necklace from my husband when I turned 50! MMMMMMMM - now I do believe diamonds ARE a girls BEST friend, indeed!

The most memorable gift was the first time my daughter sang the happy birthday song to me all by herself. It doesn't get better than that, particularly since it was such a surprise. She and her dad had worked on it together.

When I was first married, the only gifts I wanted for several years, were things for our house. Our first year of marriage, I asked for a beautiful brass mirror that I had spotted in a lovely gift shop. I still have that mirror and still love it!

My husband when we were dating wrote me a poem about our budding relationship for our birthday. It was the most special birthday gift I have ever received. He read it to me again as part of our wedding ceremony.

My fav gift isn't the most expensive but it was the most "ME" gift I've received, when my DH bought me a set of scissors, including the snippers I still use today when doing any needlepoint. They're a Fiskars set too, which is a Finnish company and I'm a Finn - something that I think escaped him when he made the purchase!

Thanx for the inspiration and blog candy opp!
